The Dominion Limited Beta Begins Today!

Summoners!
Last week we announced that Dominion would be available for limited periods of time leading up to its official release as part of a limited beta test. Well, we’re pleased to announce that the limited beta is under way!
Over the coming days, we’ll be opening testing windows on our platforms during off-peak hours, each of which will be prefaced by a forum announcement to let you know you can and participate. And if you miss one of the testing windows, remember that there will be plenty more opportunities to help test Dominion as we speed toward launch!
We’re entering the home stretch, summoners! The dawn of League of Legends: Dominion is almost upon us!

Dominion Beta Test

Finito ora il terzo game su Dominion, devo dire che ne sono rimasto piacevolmente sorpreso , dai video pensavo fosse molto più noioso ecc, invece credo diventi un buonissimo modo per farmare IP , e cambiare un pò le abitudini del game. Molto dinamica come mappa e molto veloce il gameplay davvero divertente.

Si parte a liv 3, con 1245 gold se non sbaglio,ciascun team ha 500 punti iniziali che andranno a scalare nel corso del match; ci sono 5 postazioni da conquistare, più postazioni si conquistano più i punti degli avversari scenderanno velocemente, una sorta di arathi basin per chi ha giocato a wow, ci sono 3 zone di buff del movement speed ( basta passarci sopra per avere il movement speed incrementato per dei secondi) e altre 10 zone di cura (idem come le altre, passandoci sopra si riceva una minicura) e al centro della mappa ogni tot non ho ancora calcolato il tempo spawnano 2 buff, uno per team, i benefici sono uno shield sostanzialmente e non ho ancora letto il buff completo suppongo anche danni ecc.. la base è come nella classica mappa con il vendor, solo con diversi oggetti nuovi, tral'altro la bloodthrister e altri oggetti che ancora non ho segnato non sono utilizzabili e vengono sostituiti con oggetti fatti apposta per dominion, (anche la doran's blade non è utilizzabile) domani leggerò meglio e butterò giù una lista di tutti gli oggetti; sostanzialmente direi un bel gg per il momento da parte della Riot con questa uscita.

Tips: Maggiormente vengono pickati eroi con un blink(salto, sprint etc) per ovvi motivi, da segnalare Rammus, Mundo ,Singed, Leblanc , Jax , Xin, Caitlyn sono abbastanza buoni per iniziare, io ho utilizzato Ezreal e ovviamente li ho pownati tutti =D, best carry ever seen; .own .own

upperò i replay dei 3 match se qualcuno vuole vederli con LoLReplay.

Edit: Dimenticavo le 2 nuove summoners solo per Dominion , ne ho provata solo una per ora Garrison : Allied Turret: Grants massive Regeneration and Attack Speed for 8 secs. Enemy Turret: Reduces Damage by 80% for 8 secs; davvero utile nei teamfight attorno alle torri. l'altra è Promote, che non ho provato e vedo abbastanza useless.

A New Champion Approaches - Riven, the Exile


Lore:
In Noxus, any citizen may rise to power regardless of race, gender, or social standing – strength is all that matters. It was with committed faith in this ideal that Riven strove to greatness. She showed early potential as a soldier, forcing herself to master the weight of a long sword when she was barely its height. She was ruthless and efficient as a warrior, but her true strength lay in her conviction. She entered battles without any trace of doubt in her mind: no ethical pause, no fear of death. Riven became a leader amongst her peers, poster child of the Noxian spirit. So exceptional was her passion that the High Command recognized her with a black stone rune sword forged and enchanted with Noxian sorcery. The weapon was heavier than a kite shield and nearly as broad – perfectly suited to her tastes. Soon after, she was deployed to Ionia as part of the Noxian invasion.
What began as war quickly became extermination. Noxian soldiers followed the terrifying Zaunite war machines across fields of death. It wasn’t the glorious combat for which Riven trained. She carried out the orders of her superiors, terminating the remnants of a beaten and fractured enemy with extreme prejudice. As the invasion continued, it became clear that the Ionian society would not be reformed, merely eliminated. During one bitter engagement, Riven’s unit became surrounded by Ionian forces. They called for support as the enemy closed in around them. What they received instead was a barrage of biochemical terror launched by Singed. Riven watched as around her Ionian and Noxian alike fell victim to an unspeakably gruesome fate. She managed to escape the bombardment, though she could not erase the memory. Counted dead by Noxus, she saw an opportunity to start anew. She shattered her sword – severing ties with the past – and wandered in self-imposed exile. Now she seeks atonement and her own way to serve the pure Noxian vision in which she believed.

Abilities:
  • Passive - Runic Blade: Riven's abilities charge her blade, causing her to do bonus damage on her next autoattack. Riven can store up to 3 charges, but only expends one at a time.
  • Broken Wings: Riven steps forward and lashes out in a series of powerful sword slashes. This ability can be reactivated up to 3 times in a short period.
    • 1st Use/2nd Use: Deals damage to a small area in front of her.
    • 3rd Use: Jumps into the air and slams downward, causing a larger impact nova that deals damage and knocks nearby enemies back.
  • Ki Shout: Riven damages and stuns nearby enemies.
  • Valor: Riven dashes forward and gains a shield for a short duration.
  • Blade of the Exile (Ultimate):Riven's sword reforms, giving her a percentage multiplier on her total attack damage, extended range on her damaging abilities and basic attacks and the ability to use Wind Slash once.
  • Wind Slash:While Blade of the Exile is active, Riven can reactivate the ability to emit a large shockwave that deals damage to all units hit based on their missing life.

Prepare for EU West and EU Nordic & East!

Over the last couple of months we’ve been working on an action plan to drastically reduce the amount of service impacting issues affecting our European platform. We’re finally at a point that we can share our plans to bring more stability to Europe.

Presently, the PvP.net service in Europe is supporting hundreds of thousands summoners playing League of Legends at any given time – orders of magnitude bigger than what a typical massively multiplayer environment supports! And while we’re extremely excited by the enthusiasm and passion that you have all shown for the game, it has presented complications that we have been trying to resolve. Specifically, we want to reduce lengthy login queues at peak hours, eliminate our reliance on New York based overflow servers, and drastically reduce the number of unexpected server outages.

For these reasons, we have been making preparations to split our European service onto two new platforms: EU West and EU Nordic & East. Once this split is complete, your summoner will only be accessible on the platform that you’ve landed on. Each of these platforms will be able to support the same number of players as the current European environment, dramatically increasing our service quality and paving the way for future growth.

That being said, switching over to our new, dual platform setup will be quite the logistical feat. In the coming weeks we will be assigning players to their new platform. We did our best to avoid separating groups of friends, but if you should find yourself unsatisfied with your destination platform, we will be facilitating one free transfer between the two platforms following shortly after the split. In the meantime, we’re putting restrictions in place to improve stability for those already in-game.

Yorick, the Gravedigger
  • Omen of War: Yorick’s next attack will deal bonus physical damage and summon a Spectral Ghoul that deals additional damage and moves faster than Yorick’s other ghouls. While the Spectral Ghoul is alive, Yorick moves faster as well.
  • Omen of Pestilence: Yorick summons a Decaying Ghoul that arrives with a violent explosion, dealing damage and slowing nearby enemies. While the Decaying Ghoul remains alive, nearby enemies continue to be slowed.
  • Omen of Famine: Yorick steals life from his target and summons a Ravenous Ghoul that heals Yorick for the damage it deals.
  • Omen of Death (Ultimate): Yorick conjures a revenant in the image of one of his allies. If his ally dies while its revenant is alive, the revenant sacrifices itself to reanimate them and give them time to enact vengeance.
  • Unholy Covenant (Passive): Yorick’s attacks deal more damage for each summon that is active. Meanwhile, Yorick’s ghouls deal some percent of Yorick’s Attack Damage and have some percent of his total health.

  • Fixed a bug where Molten Shield wouldn't trigger if the damage was shielded

Blitzcrank
  • When Blitzcrank grabs a champion with Rocket Grab, he will now attempt to attack them as well

Cho'Gath
  • Feast will now correctly show a particle on an enemy target when they can be killed by it

Evelynn
  • Hate Spike missile speed increased
  • Shadow Walk now applies a 3 second 30/35/40/45/50% slow instead of a stun
  • Malice and Spite
    • Passive heal reduced to 150/225/300 from 350/500/650
    • Attack speed bonus reduced to 25/50/75% from 50/75/100%

Fiddlesticks
  • Drain
    • Range increased to 475 to 450

    • Fixed a bug where Recuperate could sometimes activate immediately after taking damage

    • Now heals Irelia based on the actual damage dealt (instead of a % of the raw damage dealt), but the heal is not reduced if the damage is shielded
    • Heal versus Champions increased to 25% from 20%

  • Tailwind now deactivates while dead

  • Demacian Standard
    • Armor reduced to 10/13/16/19/22 from 10/14/18/22/26
    • Attack speed reduced to 10/13/16/19/22% from 10/14/18/22/26%

  • Leap Strike attack damage ratio reduced to 0.7 from 1

LeBlanc
  • Fixed a bug where Leblanc's clone would be permanently disabled if disabled when it spawns

  • Fixed a bug where Rocket Jump's cooldown reset could fail if Tristana's damage output was fully absorbed by a shield

Twisted Fate
  • Blue Card mana restore is no longer reduced if the damage is shielded
  • Loaded Dice now deactivates while Twisted Fate is dead
  • Fixed a bug with Gate where activating Zhonya's Hourglass during the channel time would not interrupt it

Udyr
  • Mana cost of shifting decreased to 55/50/45/40/35 from 75/65/55/45/35
  • Turtle Stance now heals Udyr based upon the actual damage dealt (instead of the raw damage dealt), but the heal is not reduced if the damage is shielded
  • Phoenix stance's activation damage increased to 15/25/35/45/55 from 10/18/26/34/42

Urgot
  • Fixed a bug with Terror Capacitor where when attacking a champion, it was slowing for less than the tooltip stated
  • Fixed a bug with Terror Capacitor where when using Acid Hunter with Terror Capacitor, it was slowing based upon Acid Hunter's rank rather than Terror Capacitor (but for the correct 20/25/30/35/40%)

Vayne
  • Silver-Tipped Bolts will no longer interact with spell shields
  • Tumble bonus damage reduced to 40/45/50/55/60% from 55/60/65/70/75%

    • Movement speed bonus now triples instead of quadruples

  • Healing reductions now reduce lifesteal and spell vamp
  • Spirit Visage now increases your lifesteal and spell vamp
  • Maximum gold for killing a player on a long kill streak reduced to 500 gold from 1000
  • Minimum gold for killing a player on a long death streak reduced to 15 gold from 90 gold
  • Gold rewards for kills where the target is on a 3 kill or 3 death streak or less should give comparable amounts or even more gold than before
  • Experience granted for kills is now determined by the dying champion's level. Killing champions higher level than you will now grant more experience while killing champions lower level than you will now grant less experience. Killing equal level champions is unaffected
  • Wards and spawned minions that don't attack are no longer targetable/manipulated by spells (except Summoner Teleport). This means, for example, that wards will no longer be able to block Rammus' Powerball, Mushrooms will not block skillshots, and Jax is no longer able to Leapstrike onto a ward

Three exciting matches, probably the best of this tournament that we have ever seen so far, a completely GG to the Triple A team , they did an awesome job to overturn the 2nd match , and to win the last one.
